What is Tradis?

This educational program focuses on studying information systems with selected business and computer science courses. As part of their respective degree programs, TraDIS students will spend a semester at each partner university and can receive two Bachelor’s degrees: one from the home institution and one from a partner university. The costs of travel, living, and studying will be supported by the TraDIS project.

Nice to know

Participation is for a total of 4 semesters, one of which is conducted at the home university. The four semester cycle begins at UMass Dartmouth, progresses to UMass Boston, then Frankfurt, then Kemi-Tornio. Each student remains a degree candidate at the home university, and will also have the opportunity to pursue a dual Bachelor's degree to be awarded by one of the foreign universities. The student must choose between the foreign universities in the 4th semester and fulfill all degree requirements of that university as well as their own.

For the study period in the EU partner university, EU citizens can also apply for Erasmus funding.

If you're from the USA
Support for Students from University of Massachusetts Boston and University of Massachusetts Dartmouth: Students will only be responsible for regular tuition at their home institution while studying abroad and may utilize all existing financial aid for this period.
